Apart from the contractor fees, several factors come into play when drilling a borehole such as
location; depth; complexity of installation; type of soil, etc

* Borehole prices range between R300 to R500 00 depending on various factors. The amount below is a starting donation towards the cost of a borehole. If you are interested in fully sponsoring a borehole, please email us for more details.

GHANA
18 percent of Ghanaians rely on surface water to meet their daily water needs, leaving them vulnerable to water-related illness and disease. Data has shown that 76 percent of households are at risk of drinking water contaminated with faecal matter. Our wells are of two types; drilled boreholes and surface electrical wells. The community is responsibly for maintenance of boreholes and wells.
UGANDA
In rural areas in Uganda, sources of water are often watering holes for livestock, downhill from latrines. Over 25% of students will drop out of school because of water-related Illnesses. In villages where there is no electricity, hand pumps can make the difference between life and death for Page 2 of 11 communities. Our wells are simple hand pumps that are easy to maintain for villages with no electricity.

MALAWI

Only 77% of water points nationwide are functional, with the rest non-functional due to various factors like old age, and neglect. Building simple bucket wells is a low-cost, easy-to-maintain solution that provides safe water to families in need.
PALESTINE

Facilitating boreholes in Gaza entails 3 phases. Phase 1 - Drilling the borehole, Phase 2 - Solar Panel Installation, Phase 3 - Desalination Plant.

ABOUT

WATER PROJECTS

one month each year. Globally, 1 in 4 people lack access to safe water. Women and young
girls are the most affected, often spending hours each day collecting water time that could
be used for education, work, or caring for their families. Without access to clean water and
sanitation, many remain trapped in a cycle of poverty.

Your donation can change this. By providing reliable and safe water sources, we reduce
health risks associated with contaminated water and help communities regain precious
time for education, work, and personal growth. Whether through drilling boreholes, or
setting up desalination solutions, we tailor our approach to meet each community’s needs
ensuring long-term sustainability and a healthier future. In areas where war has ravaged
communities, water is essential now more than ever, to build a thriving community.
