SANITARY TOILETS

The use of unsanitary pit toilets by both learners and teachers unfortunately are part of the daily challenges at Jobstown Combined Primary School, Northern KZN. The existing sanitation backlog within schools in South Africa remains a huge barrier to future quality education for thousands of students.

RICE FOR ROHINGYA

95 per cent of Rohingya households in Bangladesh are vulnerable and remain dependent on humanitarian assistance. The minimum to feed a small family of four with just 20kg of rice is just R300. A food pack consisting of lentils, oil and potatoes is R600.
